The GR 48 represents the essence of GRIZZLY’s design philosophy — pure performance through absolute simplicity. It is the base platform of the GR 48 line and one of the lightest ski-mountaineering bindings ever made.

The toe piece features the patented GRIZZLY FIX locking system. Despite its minimal weight, it integrates functional technologies that make every transition faster and easier — GRIZZLY STEP and GRIZZLY FLEX.

The heel piece is equally unique: only three holes to drill, a folding flap with a secure lock, and a fixed release force (~14) for those who demand total control.

No safety release.
Release occurs only after exceeding the fixed release force — designed for professional race use.
