The GR 48 BRAKE SM is built on the proven GR 48 platform — combining race-proven geometry with full adjustability and safety for modern ski mountaineers.

The toe piece features the patented GRIZZLY FIX locking system and functional technologies that simplify every step — GRIZZLY STEP and GRIZZLY FLEX.

The BRAKE kit uses a hybrid adapter that allows both the ski brake and crampons adapter to be mounted on the toe piece — giving you the freedom to switch between climb and descent without compromise.

The heel piece includes a safety release mechanism that releases the ski boot in case of a fall, together with a folding flap and secure lock. The integrated MICROSHIFT system provides a 10 mm adjustment range — perfect for users with multiple pairs of ski boots. You choose the release force when purchasing — 8 or 10. For both vertical and lateral release, the release force remains identical.
