The GR 48 SM is built on the GR 48 platform, combining its ultra-light architecture with a rotating heel and 10 mm micro-adjustment (MICROSHIFT) for complete precision.

The toe piece features the patented GRIZZLY FIX locking system. Minimalistic in form, yet equipped with technologies that simplify every motion — GRIZZLY STEP and GRIZZLY FLEX.

The heel piece integrates a safety release mechanism that releases the ski boot in the event of a fall, while the MICROSHIFT function allows 10 mm movement to adapt to different ski-boot lengths. This flexibility is valued by ski mountaineers who use multiple boots or demand perfect tuning.

The heel also features a folding flap with a locking system. You choose the release force when purchasing — 8 or 10. For both vertical and lateral directions, the release force remains identical.
